Meet Our Team
Lindsey Caliga
Founder & Pack Leader
Hi There,
I’m Lindsey Caliga the Owner of Running Paws LLc. My love for dogs started out as begging my mom for at 10 years old;Kelly ended up being a husky mix. After her first dog I didn’t know the next dog would change my life.
Calli was the unicorn dog. She was trained to be a service dog for me helping with medical alerting. This is where my curiosity for training started. Once starting high school at Newton South I started working at BYOD Dog wash immediately when I could start; Yes, there is an age minimum to my disbelief . Calli came to the shop and came to college with me and trained to be a Caine Good Citizen. Throughout college I had many experiences to closely watch how other professional trainers made dog succeed.I had great experiences shadowing under local trainers, police dog trainers and guide dogs trainers .
Once done with school, graduating from Ithaca College and receiving a degree in Exercise Science, I returned to BYOD as Assistant Manager. I started shifting to dog walking and to my disbelief it has become my full time job and company.
Working with Dogs is never actually working. I never worked a day since I started Running Paws. I love being able to meet lovely people in my community and help them connect on a deeper level with their dogs.

Casey Lenson
Pack Leader
Casey's love for dogs started ever since she could remember. She loved the championship that they provided. That love through the years has evolved into her life passion and goal of working and understanding canine behavior/training. Her first beloved dog Tucker allows her to become very knowledgeable about severe medical issues and the medical treatment side . Tucker unfortunately passed in 2021 a year after her dog Phin passed in 2020. Casey started work at Newton BYOD dog wash and gained her first experience professionally handling dogs and learning about products (nutrition, grooming, products) . Her new rescue dog Lucy is a pit-mix that came with challenges. Lucy’s rough start made her have no leash walking stills, severe anxiety, and dog reactivity. Casey shadowed and continues to lead training classes under a CCDPT-KA (certified professional dog trainer- knowledge assessed). Through that experience Lucy is now able to happily join our walks and hikes. Casey has been with Running paws as second in command for 2 years. She loves coming to work and working with old and new clients.
