RUNNING PAWS is a Queer and AAPI-owned dog walking and pet care business proudly serving Newton, MA. Founded in 2019, Running Paws was created from a lifelong love of dogs and a commitment to compassionate, structured care. It all started with Kelly, a spirited husky mix, and later Calli, a service dog trained for medical alerting, who sparked a deep interest in canine behavior and training.

That passion grew through hands-on experience, starting at Newton South High School with early work at BYOD Dog Wash and continuing through college with mentorship from professional trainers, including police specialists and Guiding Eyes for the Blind. After our Founder, Lindsey, earned a degree in Exercise Science from Ithaca College and returned to BYOD as Assistant Manager, her focus naturally shifted toward direct pet care and training.

At Running Paws, every service is grounded in empathy, structure, and expertise. The team believes all dogs deserve personalized attention, socialization, and exercise at their own pace. Prioritizing quality over quantity, Running Paws helps build confidence, trust, and lasting bonds between pets and their people.
